What Kind of Files Should I Send?

File Types

Most digital cameras above 6 mega pixels will take a picture large enough for us to create your print. You can send us your raw file:

  • Link your camera or card reader to your computer
  • Go to "My Computer" and open the folder for your storage device
  • Find the file(s) you would like to download (you may need to right-click and choose View>Thumbnails to find your pics.
  • Select the files (typically .jpg files), and drag them to "My Pictures" in "My Documents", your Desktop, or the folder of your choice.

For those who are "tech savvy," raster files should be no less than 150 dpi at 100% size (best quality is achieved at higher resolutions) and 300 dpi or higher if smaller.

Acceptable file formats are:

Raster (pixel based):
.jpg, .psd, .bmp

Vector (scalable math-based):
.eps, .ai, .eps, .pdf
